Following the adoption and launch of the constitution, the Alumni Association was vested powers to elect an executive committee as guided by Article 6;(clause 1) of the Constitution. The Election process was conducted in accordance with Article 16 of the constitution that gives direction on the entire election process.
Elective positions were six (6), five (5) of which were unopposed and one (1) with two contestants.
The election was done through a secure digital voting system where 610 active alumni members voluntarily cast their votes. The results were automatically generated by the voting system after the last voter cast their vote after which the contestants confirmed and accepted the results.
